5 must-visit Hipster Cafes in Singapore

Hipster cafes with great coffee and dreamy interiors are dotted all over Singapore! Whether you're looking for a cute place to grab brunch with friends, or a chilled work spot- this little Lion City has got you covered. There is no dearth of options here. In this blog post, I am sharing five of my current favourite cafes in Singapore that in my opinion, tick every box! 5 must-visit Hipster Cafes in Singapore Common Man Stan

A super hipster spot located in the CBD, Common Man Stan is a great lunch option for meetings during the day or coffee breaks with colleagues. The servers here are super attentive. Additionally, in a perfect environment, you can enjoy delicious coffee and delectable food options. I am a huge fan of the interiors here and love the booth seating for more privacy!

PUNCH

Just a stone's throw from Clarke Quay MRT, Punch is the perfect spot for a rainy afternoon coffee. The cafe has a cozy low-lit atmosphere and beautiful minimal interiors. I love to come and chill here for a couple of hours when I have some editing to do. Furthermore, they have an awesome playlist! And, there's a beautiful jungle inspired courtyard to sit outside if you fancy! This makes Punch, one of the most instagrammable cafes in Singapore. Coffee options here are great, and I always return with my friends for their delicious cheese toastie with bacon and tomato soup.

Five Oars Coffee Roasters

A recently-opened trendy coffee shop addition to Tanjong Pagar’s contemporary neighbourhood, Five Oars Coffee Roasters is a gorgeous open-aired hangout. It is the perfect spot for coffee or lunch. Their minimalist aesthetic is totally up my street. They have some really great food options. Don’t be deceived by their outdoor seating, as there’s a huge seating area inside to enjoy!

Sarnies

Situated in the heart of Telok Ayer, this cute little cafe serves super yummy breakfast including crispy bacon and eggs, enormous portions of hash browns, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I frequent here not only for the delicious food, but because I get 1-for-1 main meals with the Entertainer app, and cashback with ShopBack Go. Sarnies is a super popular spot in the neighbourhood and has a really relaxed vibe for all to enjoy.

Chye Seng Huat Hardware

If you're a fan of vintage aesthetics, look no further! Chye Seng Huat Hardware is one of my favorite café spots in the Jalan Basar area for an excellent cup of coffee. This cafe is a former hardware shop that has been renovated into an industrial-chic café, with a rustic courtyard. They also have a communal coffee bar where you can sit and watch the baristas at work. Although this cafe doesn't have wifi, it is still a fab spot with a chilled atmosphere!
